Russian Financier Sentenced for Ordering Bank Exec Killing: Report

A Moscow court Thursday sentenced the financier accused of ordering the assassination of a top Russian banking official to 19 years in prison, according to a Reuters report. During the trial, prosecutors said Aleksei Frenkel was seeking revenge when he ordered the killing of Andrei Kozlov, the deputy head of Russia's Central Bank, who revoked the license of Frenkel's bank during a crusade against money laundering and corruption, according to the report.
