India’s anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism (AML / CFT) efforts have been on a positive trajectory in the past few years, with the country continuing to make significant progress in curtailing illicit financial activities, including tax evasion and money laundering. With India’s Mutual Evaluation by the Financial Action Task Force taking place in 2021 and given the country’s status as a key emerging market with high volumes of financial services and trading activities, it is crucial for India to ensure that its financial system is not exploited to launder illegal proceeds and finance terrorism.
ACAMS is pleased to host the 2nd Annual AML & Anti-Financial Crime Conference – Indian Subcontinent on 22 – 23 February 2021. As part of our International Annual Conference Series, this Conference will provide insights on some of the latest developments in the AML / CFT regulatory environment and the dynamic sanctions landscape.
We provide automated entry of ACAMS Credits upon attendance of the Conference (6) and / or the CAMS Examination Preparation Seminar (6).
