Bank of China’s Services for Terror Group Can Be Linked to Attacks: Judge

Bank of China's decision to maintain accounts for individuals belonging to an Islamist terrorist group can be legally linked to the victims of the organization's suicide bombers, according to a federal judge. The 118-page ruling by District of Columbia District Court Judge Royce Lamberth contains some of the strongest wording yet to bolster a relatively nascent field of civil law that attempts to hold banks accused of providing services to terrorist groups liable for subsequent terrorist attacks, according to lawyers familiar with the case.
